Henry Hassig is our Distributor in Switzerland and is the longest serving Davida Dealer in the world. Henry now runs his shop, British Parts with his son Henry Hassig Junior.
As well as being passionate about all things British, the Swiss also have a fine tradition of riding throughout the cold snowy winters where it can often drop below zero for months on end. No wonder then for the choice of an aluminium fairing and ice tyres on the sports bikes, but in a Davida Classic and balaclava… respect !
As Davida helmets are Made In England we meet a lot of Anglophiles and the Swiss are no exception. The Swiss Black Shadow Club display perhaps one the worlds most famous motorcycling image of Roland ‘Rollie’ Free taken at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats in 1948 achieving a new land speed record of 150.13 mph on a Vincent Black Shadow wearing only a pair of Speedos and sneakers.
Swiss women have an interesting look about them too.
