Davida Race at Dirtquake II, Saturday June 8th 2013, Norfolk Arena, King’s Lynn.
It’s that time of year again when half the Davida team are scrambling around trying to find knobblies to fit their bikes, it can only mean one thing: Dirtquake II is imminent.
Although the closest they’ve been to off-road since last years Dirtquake is their drives, Team Davida can’t wait to be back racing road bikes on dirt again, awaiting the flag with serious race-face; more likely doing their best to be slowest of the grid whilst chuckling at the bizarre congregation of ‘inappropriate road bikes’ as they make their way around a dirt track oval circuit.

This year’s event is sure to be a whopper. Davida can’t recommend Dirtquake highly enough if you’ve never experienced it, Sideburners Dave Arnold, Gary Inman and Ben Part B et al do not disappoint when they put together an event like this. The most off the wall motorbike event on the calendar, scooters, choppers, road bikes, racing on dirt? What’s not to like? Don’t think about it, just go and experience the shenanigans.
Team Davida will be eclectically racing on an exotic array of inappropriate road machines and will attempt to bring as much wackiness to the proceedings as possible, their team is unimaginably exotic featuring riders from impossibly far flung corners such a France and Liverpool, even Wales.
